Jose Barboza

He brings extensive experience in finance and accounting, supporting key industries in South Florida, including IT healthcare, higher education, cruise travel, and public health. His previous roles include Controller for Florida International University’s nonprofit corporate umbrella, Senior Auditor for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Manager of Financial Audit for the Florida Department of Health. Jose has also served as finance lead for various small private firms across industries such as IT, nutraceuticals, law, and interior design. He holds an MBA from the University of Miami and a Master of Accounting (MACC) from Nova Southeastern University.
